What exactly is the
Bonanza Extravaganza?
The Bonanza Extravaganza is a three-day event held every year on Mother’s Day weekend. Gates open Friday afternoon and patrons are welcomed onto the infield of Hagerstown Speedway. There they can find live music, vendors, gaming, and activities for their adult friends and family. Massive tents, large enough to hold more than 8,000 people, are set up on the infield. Under them there are stages, tables, chairs, and a huge JumboTron television for added entertainment. Don’t forget our bottomless beer and soda mugs, good for Friday and Saturday.
Big Friday Money is our money give-away reserved for those present on Friday night. On Saturday the gates open early and the festivities start once again. Live music can be heard throughout the day and into the night. The drawing starts at noon on Saturday and every five minutes are marked with a give-away of cash and prizes. Watch our MC’s in the main tent, visit our gaming tent, stroll through our vendor area, and check out the prizes on display. Enjoy the free food buffet from noon until 7 on Saturday as well. It is a great time for family and friends.

You may purchase one guest ticket for every $100 ticket purchased.
What is a VIP ticket and how much are they?
The VIP area is sponsored by Nick’s Airport Inn on Friday night and provides an elite Bonanza Extravaganza experience. The VIP area has unique amenities, catered food, specialty beer, and private gaming separate from the gaming tent just for VIP ticket holders. VIP tickets are an additional $50 per person. Do you have to be present to win?
You must be present to win the Big Friday Money on Friday night. We will give away twenty, one-thousand dollar prizes. For this special drawing, all patrons entering the gate will be given a separate raffle ticket. This is the ticket used for the Friday drawing. Winners must be present to claim their $1,000 prize that night.
Patrons need not be present Saturday to win. Patrons who purchase a $100 ticket will be given a four-digit number. The drawing is done with four machines, each containing ten balls numbered 0-9. Each drawing results in a four-digit number.
How do I get my ticket?
Purchases made on line will produce an e-ticket. This e-ticket must be printed and brought to the event for admission. No admission will be allowed without this e-ticket. Tickets may also be bought in person at participating retailers. If not attending the event, the e-ticket will serve as proof of purchase for drawing winners. Tickets can also be picked up at these locations.
